1. GPRS (2.5G): The General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) enables networks to offer 'always-on' packet-based data services. In the UK Yamgo offers streaming and download video service solutions over GPRS at bit rates of 50kbps for video downloads and 25kbps for video streaming.
2. EDGE (or Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution): is a 3G technology that allows mobile phone users to connect to the Internet and send and receive video and content three times faster than possible with an ordinary GSM/GPRS. Yamgo offers content for download at bit rates up to 200 kbps and 100kbps for streaming.
3. 3G: is finally living up to the hype and Yamgo is very active in developing 3G content (W-CMDA and 1XEV-DO). 3G networks allow bitrates of up to 384kbps.
