Optimised Mobile TV Delivery Servers

Built with full redundancy and telco-grade reliability, Yamgo’s optimised Delivery Server combines support for unicast and multicast distribution methods without the channel line-up limitations found with mobile broadcast services.  The greatest barrier to a high quality end-user experience is the incompatibility between networks including: GPRS, EDGE, 1xEVDO, Wi-Fi, WiMax, and HSPA. Consumers’ roam across networks and network conditions change constantly throughout sessions and it is necessary to be able to adapt and manage available bandwidth.  Yamgo addresses this problem by providing an optimization technology that adapts the bit rates of video and audio streams to reach the greatest number of end-user devices and network bandwidths.

Content Management

Yamgo’s content management system takes the hassle out of importing and transcoding content. Content is ingested once and then encoded into all necessary formats.  Content owners are provided with a web-based interface or Yamgo can supply video professionals to perform the playout and content management.
